More than just a Farmer - Mentoring Programme

Join Thabo Mahlobo, Nation Building Strategist,  More than just a Farmer - AgriPreneurship Development programme . This programme provides a  platform where smallholder farmers or people interested in farming can be given an opportunity to go to a different city, region, and country to learn from our partner-farms . This allow them to be mentored, coached and trained in the business of agriculture. We have realized that our education system does not equip youth for a life after school or classroom. During these 7 sessions , we ensure that our candidates are fully equipped in all areas.

We are committed to training you in basic farming, business, finance and  leadership skills. At the end of your mentoring, you will be given an opportunity to decide whether you would like to join us to serve in other different roles and capacities within the company or set up your own business.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Meet consistently with a trainer/coach for development
• Spend a minimum of 20 hours a month in a specific project (depending on your particular interest and skill)
• Participate in our “AgriBusiness projects”
• Serve/ be part of the team/ delegate that will travel into African countries
• Participate in our Agriculture, Sustainability and Climate change conferences & other events

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for Food security, Sustainability and Environment
• Heart to serve
• Peer Reference
• Willingness to sacrifice for our major events & programs
• Emotional maturity
• Social maturity
• Single or married w / o children

Wrapping Up – Thinking and Creating Legacies
